Derek Bulloch has been part of the family business since childhood. He started out with a broom in hand, keeping job sites clean, and over time worked his way through nearly every trade. After high school, he began full-time work in concrete by building footings, stem walls, and flatwork before moving into framing and ultimately focusing on finish carpentry. With his keen eye for detail, Derek took pride in ensuring the finishing touches were flawless, knowing they’re what clients see and live with every day. Along the way, he absorbed the craft and care that define every Bulco home.
After earning degrees in Spanish and Finance from Southern Utah University, Derek returned to the company with a unique blend of knowledge, skill, and genuine connection with people. Known for his personable nature, he approaches every project with the same priorities: exceptional quality, attention to detail, and building lasting relationships. In 2023, Derek became the owner of Bulco after purchasing the company from his father. Today, he proudly carries forward the Bulco tradition by continuing the commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and homes that stand the test of time.
Robert A. Bulloch has been in the building industry for over 40 years and a licensed general contractor for more
than 30. A graduate of Southern Utah University with a degree in Building Construction and Construction
Management, Robert founded Robert A. Bulloch Construction, Inc. in 1982. Over the decades, his work has been showcased in the Parade of Homes almost every year, earning multiple 1st Place awards for quality and
craftsmanship in every event entered.
While the company’s specialty has always been large custom homes, Robert also built affordable starter homes, cabins, small commercial buildings, remodels, and additions. Deeply involved in the local building community, he served
as the first President of the Iron County Homebuilders Association and, in 2010, as President of the Utah Homebuilders Association, where he contributed over 16 years of service on the state board.
At Robert A. Bulloch Construction, Inc., quality and customer satisfaction have always been the highest priorities —a standard Robert upheld until his retirement in 2023.
